Natalie came up with the idea of GirlBE, having watched her daughter and niece (9 & 13 at the time) negotiate school changes, friendship groups and growing influences from society around them.
The #Metoo movement and the Gender Pay gap were dominating the headlines.
She passionately felt if we were going to raise the strong women of the future, we needed to start finding ways to get core messages and build determination, resilience and sense of worth in our girls as early as possible.
